Club History

  Back in the summer of 1987 a group of Wigan Harriers' runners decided to create a new club to concentrate on road running - a base was found at Standish Cricket Club and by the end of August 1987 the membership was 50 strong. Over 500 runners have been associated with the club since then and we currently have over 70 members. 

  The club competes on the roads, over the fells and in the cross country mud.
