A great increase in members racing over the last 2 months:

First of all we had B. Gorrill who had the club place for the London Marathon, finishing in a time of 2:57:19. There was also Manchester Marathon with a male and female entry M. Collier 3:01.11 and S. Lowe running for chairty in 3:26:34. In addition there was a decent turn out at the Wigan Run Festival. In the Half Marathon we had, M. Collier 1:22.35, M. Manir-Jolley 1:24.53, G. Brennan 1:29:47, S. Ainge 1:31:24, M. Fisher 1:37:46 and E. Weall 1:41:51. Running the 5K, D. Orrell 17:32, P. Blakemore 18:08, J. Bamford 18:42 and D. Bamford 22:16. S. Lowe also ran the Wilmslow Half Marathon in 1:34:14.56.

The CLGP contiued with Trotters 5m on 03.03.2024, which saw P. Blakemore in 35:45 and M. Collier in 36:59.

There have also been a few runners hitting the trails, starting with The Ten Res's in March with K. Moorfield 6:44:30 and W. Moorfield in 6:44:34. Then there was a weekend in The Lakes with the Derwent Dwadle with S. Lowe in 4:43:05 and the Howgills Marathon with J. Platt in 5:34:26 and T. Holland in 5:34:27.

Our Club Awards were also given out as follows: S. Ainge received the Athlete of the Year Trophy, M. Collier received the Tony Lenagan Trophy for Half Marathon & Above, D. Orrell received The Memorial Trophy for Under Half Marathon and K. Moorfield received Joe's Cup.
